Our Flotilla is comprised of volunteers dedicated to safer recreational boating on the waters of the Florida Gulf. These individuals undergo intensive special training so they are able to assist and augment the United States Coast Guard in its non-military, non-law enforcement programs of, Boating Education, Vessel Safety Checks, Safety Patrols, Search and Rescue, and Aids to Navigation

On weekends our members patrol the local Gulf of Mexico waters in Hernando County. These boats are distinctively marked with U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary markings. During these patrols we also maintain a radio watch on marine channel 16 at our Headquarters building.
